About 997Value.com
I'm Wesley Neese. I run 996Value.com for the 996 generation, and this site is the same idea one generation newer: what is a 997 actually worth, answered from sales instead of opinions.
I drive a 2001 996 Carrera Cabriolet. The 997 is the car a lot of 996 owners move to, and its market has the same problem the 996's had: asking prices everywhere, sold prices nowhere you can use them. So the dataset here is 352 collected and verified auction sales (Bring a Trailer and Cars & Bids today; PCarMarket, Collecting Cars, and Hemmings follow), every one a completed auction at a stated hammer price.
997Value.com is part of Flat Six Value. I'm building one of these for each flat-six 911 generation. 996 is done. 997 is this site. The others follow as their datasets get built.
The calculator is free and stays free. A paid Pro Report comes later, once the adjustments are measured and there's a following to sell it to. That's the same order I used on the 996: audience first, premium second.
